It all started when family and quality of life brought owner, Sommer Peterson back to her home town of Fair Oaks after  two decades in San Francisco. During that time she successfully created vibrant social destinations including Mission Bowling Club, a boutique bowling alley serving award-winning food and extraordinary specialty cocktails, and Mini Bar, an art themed cocktail bar and neighborhood hangout.

 

Sommer is proud to bring her eclectic style and experience to join the ranks of flourishing small businesses in the quaint town of her youth.

 

At Shangri-la, our kitchen offers a versatile menu that features locally sourced, seasonal ingredients transformed into elevated comfort food at its best.
